Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley makes a statement regarding the London terror attacks

On June 3rd, the Metropolitan Police responded to a terrorist incident at London Bridge and Borough Market. A vehicle struck pedestrians, and suspects attempted to stab people, including a police officer. Armed officers quickly responded, shooting the suspects, who wore fake explosive vests. Six civilians died, and 20 were injured. The public is advised to avoid the area and assist by providing any media of the incident. Future police presence will increase, and public vigilance is encouraged.
