Gemini VI-A Rendezvous with Gemini VII Capsule

During the second revolution, Gemini 6 executed complex maneuvers to achieve a wider orbit. Captain Schirra reported being within 200 miles of Gemini 7. By the fourth revolution, radar contact was established, and visual contact followed. The two crafts came within six feet of each other, traveling at over 17,000 mph, and remained in close proximity for four hours. The next day, Gemini 6 prepared for orbit.
