Abdallah Hamdog's motorcade was attacked with explosives and gunfire while he was traveling to his office. Despite the attack, Hamdog assured the Sudanese people of his well-being and emphasized that the incident would not hinder the ongoing revolution. The attack occurred during Sudan's transition to civilian rule after the ousting of the former president in April 2019. Investigations are underway to identify those responsible.
