Chris Christie was hospitalized as a precaution due to his asthma after testing positive for COVID-19. He received the same treatment as President Trump. The virus spread among officials after a Rose Garden event. Christie was part of Trump's debate prep team, where masks were not worn. Trump announced he and Melania tested positive on October 2nd.
