The largest aquarium in South America will open in Rio de Janeiro, offering a unique underwater experience with 28 environments and 350 species. It features a massive tank with a translucent tunnel, providing an immersive experience. The aquarium aims to educate, research, and promote marine conservation, with 90% of its fish from the Brazilian coast. Developed in a rehabilitated Olympic area, it cost $40 million. Future plans include a SARF museum, a research center, and a diving center.
