Conversations with Goddard: Jody Davis

The speaker shares their journey from a childhood interest in space and design to becoming a deputy payload systems engineer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Inspired by the movie Apollo 13, they pursued aerospace engineering, earning degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and UVA. They also developed a passion for flying, obtaining a pilot's license in high school. Committed to STEM outreach, they engaged with a nonprofit in Tanzania and aim to run marathons on every continent. At Goddard, they value the collaborative work environment and the team's problem-solving capabilities.
