Maya building techniques

The ancient Maya builders, lacking metal tools, used jadeite and obsidian to create effective tools for construction and agriculture. Jadeite, a hard and durable stone, was used to make tools like hammers and chisels, while obsidian provided sharp cutting blades. These tools, similar in shape to modern ones, enabled the Maya to build impressive structures such as pyramids and temples with great skill and knowledge.
