VOICED : Jovenes franceses comparten la batucada en una favela Brasilena

The video showcases Batuca Poeira, a musical group from France, sharing their music and dance with the Santa Marta favela in Rio de Janeiro. The group, consisting of over 25 young people, aims to break stereotypes and celebrate cultural diversity through a social initiative. They have been planning this project for six years, coinciding with the Olympics. The performance surprised the local community and demonstrated that zamba and batucada can be embraced by non-Brazilians. The cultural exchange will continue in 2018 when Brazilian musicians visit France.
