Since July 2012, Aleppo has faced severe transportation challenges due to ongoing conflict. Fuel prices have soared, and government bus services have ceased in rebel-controlled areas. In response, former students and activists have refurbished old state buses, creating the Free Travelling Company to provide affordable transport. This initiative has offered employment to unemployed drivers and affordable travel for residents. Despite the stalemate in fighting and limited international aid, Aleppo's community is striving to regain normalcy.
