VOICED : Francia inflige multas millonarias a Google y Facebook a causa de sus "cookies"

The French data protection agency has fined Google and Facebook 150 and 60 million euros, respectively, for their use of cookies that are difficult to reject compared to accepting them. This fine is the largest Google has faced in France, following a previous 100 million euro fine in 2020. Both companies have three months to address this issue or face additional daily fines. Google has stated it will change its policy. The use of cookies for tracking and personalized advertising is a concern for consumer rights groups.
