VOICED : Venezuela retoma dialogo agitado por adelanto de elecciones

The Venezuelan government and a faction of the opposition met in the Dominican Republic to negotiate amidst tensions over the government's decision to advance presidential elections. The Democratic Unity coalition attended to demand fair election guarantees and protest the government's recent actions. Optimism was expressed about reaching an agreement, with discussions focusing on electoral guarantees and the country's economic crisis. Facilitators from Nicaragua, Bolivia, Chile, and Spain were present, while Mexico withdrew in protest of the election advancement.
