VOICED : Mexicano Michel Franco se lleva otro premio en Cannes

Michel Franco, a Mexican filmmaker, received recognition at the Cannes Film Festival for his film 'Las hijas de abril', starring Emma Suárez. The film won the jury prize in the 'Un Certain Regard' section, which highlights lesser-known directors. Franco's film competed against 17 others, including two from Latin America. The top prize went to the Iranian film 'Lerd' by Mohammad Rasuluf. This marks Franco's fourth appearance at Cannes, having previously won awards for 'Kronik', 'Después de Lucía', and 'Daniel y Ana'.
