1940 treaty ending Winter War cedes areas of Finland to Soviet Union

On March 13th, 1941, the Russo-Finnish War ended after 104 days. Finland was compelled to seek peace and accept a severe treaty with Russia, resulting in the loss of significant borderlands. This led to the displacement of over 400,000 Finns, who had to abandon their homes to the conquerors.
