Jupiter now has 92 moons, surpassing Saturn's 83. The Minor Planet Center identified these moons, discovered using telescopes in Hawaii and Chile in 2021 and 2022. The moons are small, ranging from 0.6 to 2 miles. Ganymede, Jupiter's largest moon, is the biggest in the solar system. The European Space Agency plans to launch the JUICE spacecraft to explore three of Jupiter's moons: Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. Additionally, 12 new moons have been discovered orbiting Jupiter.
