Older People Fret Less About Aging In Place: AP-NORC Poll

A recent Associated Press-NORC poll reveals that people aged 65 and older feel more prepared to age in their own homes compared to those aged 50 to 64. Nearly 80% of the older group feel extremely or very prepared to stay in their current homes as long as possible. However, there is greater insecurity about aging in place among Black and Latino Americans.
