VOICED : Denuncian fraude en elecciones de Afganistan

Following the Afghan elections, leading candidates accused the process of fraud and irregularities. Salma Irrazul, linked to President Karzai, and other main contenders, Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, raised concerns with the Electoral Complaints Commission. Despite threats from the Taliban, voter turnout was high. The commission received over 1,200 complaints about fake votes and voter coercion. Although no major incidents occurred, 20 people died, including civilians and Afghan forces. A truck carrying ballots was bombed in Kunduz, killing three. Preliminary results are expected on April 24, with a potential second round on May 28.
