ASIMO, developed by Honda over 20 years, is a highly advanced humanoid robot. It integrates various subsystems to function autonomously, unlike many university lab robots. ASIMO's walking mechanism has evolved to mimic human movement, eliminating pauses during turns. Since 1986, ASIMO has improved significantly, now able to climb stairs and run at 6 km/h.
