VOICED : Santos: Colombia elige entre guerra y paz

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos acknowledged the victory of opposition candidate Óscar Zuluaga in the presidential elections. Zuluaga received 29.3% of the votes, while Santos got 25.6%. Both will proceed to a runoff. Santos congratulated Zuluaga and invited him to a debate focused on proposals. Santos, in power since 2010, seeks a new term to finalize peace talks with the Farc, which Zuluaga opposes. Colombians will choose between peace and ongoing conflict. Santos called for unity among other candidates for peace. The election saw a 60% abstention rate, but was considered the most secure in recent history due to a guerrilla-declared truce.
