AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty 2021 – Hands-On - Redshift Serverless

Redshift Serverless is a new AWS feature that automatically scales and provisions Redshift clusters based on workload, optimizing costs and performance. It uses machine learning to handle variable workloads and simplifies cluster setup. Billing is based on Redshift Processing Units (RPUs) and storage. While it offers many features of traditional Redshift, some limitations exist, such as lack of support for Redshift Spectrum and public endpoints. Monitoring is enhanced with Cloudwatch integration, providing detailed usage metrics.
