Despite the law's approval after extensive debates, a survey by Equipos Mori reveals that two-thirds of Uruguayans oppose the law, with only 24% in favor. The survey, conducted between December 2 and 10, shows a decrease in disapproval from 70% in April to 59% in October. Young people and those from higher socioeconomic backgrounds are more supportive of the regulation.
