Leaders from Russia, France, Germany, and Ukraine will meet in Minsk to discuss a peace agreement to prevent the conflict in eastern Ukraine from escalating into a full-scale war. The German Foreign Ministry announced the meeting, and the leaders have already held a lengthy phone conversation. They are working on a package of measures to reach a consensus on the crisis. The separatist conflict in eastern Ukraine has resulted in over 5,500 deaths in ten months, with 12 Ukrainian soldiers killed in the last 24 hours.
