Peter Bulow, New York's Subway Sculpture Artist

The artist began creating clay portraits on the subway in 2008 during his commute. He finds inspiration in the diverse faces and stories of fellow passengers, influenced by his work as a psychiatrist. Despite the challenges of sculpting in public, he has created nearly 400 portraits, with some enlarged to life size. His work is driven by the mystery and beauty of people, and he aims to continue expanding his collection.
