Cosmic dust

Cosmic dust, often as fine as smoke, is created when stars explode or rocky bodies collide. This dust is recycled into new stars and solar systems. Historically, it posed a challenge for astronomers by obscuring views of stars and galaxies. However, advancements in infrared astronomy now allow us to see details beyond these dust clouds.
