SH Sounds: Enhancing the Museum Experience with Music and Sound

The SH Sounds initiative enhances exhibition spaces with unique audio experiences. It features 16 commissioned pieces of music, spoken word, and sound, stored on MP3 players, and activated in different galleries. Each gallery offers a distinct sound, such as David Costin's music in the sculpture gallery and Roots Manoeuvre's hip hop in the Norfolk House Music room. Simon Fisher Turner contributes new sounds to the ceramic room, aiming to deepen visitor engagement. The initiative seeks to attract more visitors to the VNA and enrich their experience.
