Millions More People At Risk Of Climate-Related Coastal Flooding

A study by Climate Central reveals that by 2050, 300 million people could be affected by annual flooding, three times more than previously estimated. Improved radar and satellite imaging show that many more people live on vulnerable land. Countries like China, Bangladesh, India, and Vietnam, along with cities such as Shanghai and Miami, are at high risk. However, significant emission reductions could save 50 million people from flooding by the century's end.
