The Cannes Film Festival concluded with the awarding of the prestigious Palma de Oro to the film 'Wintersleep' by Turkish director Ceylan. Timothy Spall and Julianne Moore were recognized as Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Italian director Alice Roadwatcher received the Grand Prize for 'Las Maravillas'.
