ESA space junk collector reaches ISS for tests

The Removedebris satellite, developed with the European Space Agency, has reached the International Space Station. Weighing 100 kilograms, it features a harpoon and a net to manage space debris. The harpoon can push debris away from satellites, while the net captures debris to burn up upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. After deployment from the ISS, the satellite will perform tests using Cubesats as simulated debris.
