Hawaii became the first U.S. state to legally challenge President Trump's revised travel ban, which restricts entry from six predominantly Muslim countries. Despite modifications to address previous legal challenges, the new decree is similar to the original. It suspends refugee admissions for 120 days and visa issuance for travelers from Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Sudan, while excluding Iraqis, permanent residents, and current visa holders.
