VOICED : Europa supera los 100 millones de casos de covid-19

Europe has surpassed 100 million COVID-19 cases, accounting for over a third of global cases. The region is experiencing unprecedented infection levels, with a 59% increase in cases over the past week. Seventeen countries have set new weekly records. Despite the surge, the death rate has decreased by 7% compared to the previous week. Europe has a higher vaccination rate than the global average, with 61% fully vaccinated compared to 49% worldwide. Globally, over 5.4 million people have died from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
