VOICED : Arrestan a opositor venezolano al volver del exilio

Manuel Rosales, a former presidential candidate and opposition leader, was arrested upon his return to Venezuela after six years in exile. Accused of illicit enrichment during his tenure as governor of Zulia, Rosales claims he is a victim of political persecution. His wife, Evelyn Trejo, and supporters from the Un Nuevo Tiempo party awaited him at the airport. Known for his strong opposition to the late President Hugo Chávez, Rosales faced disqualification from public office earlier this year, along with other opposition leaders like María Corina Machado, Leopoldo López, and Antonio Ledesma, who are part of the Democratic Unity Roundtable coalition.
