The Venezuelan opposition is using various methods to inform supporters about the signature validation process needed to initiate a recall referendum against President Nicolás Maduro. The electoral body has approved 1.3 million signatures, but 200,000 must be validated biometrically. Nationwide mobilization is planned to facilitate this. If successful, the opposition will need to gather 4 million more signatures for the referendum to proceed.
