VOICED : Uruguay abre Biblioteca cannabica

Uruguay has opened its first cannabis library, aiming to provide qualified information on cannabis and its uses. The library, initiated by the Asociación de Estudios de Cannabis del Uruguay, will serve as a hub for knowledge exchange and will host various courses, including hydroponics and cooking. Following a law passed by the Uruguayan Parliament, adults over 18 will soon be able to access cannabis through self-cultivation, consumer clubs, or pharmacies, with certain restrictions. The government estimates that 150,000 of the country's 3.3 million inhabitants consume cannabis.
