097 Fall of Jerusalem Part 3 - One Minute History

Before Passover, Titus begins his assault on Jerusalem's 3rd wall, which falls within two weeks. The Romans then breach the 2nd wall. Titus orders the cutting of trees to aid the siege of the inner wall protecting the temple and city. The Romans capture the Antonio fortress and build fortifications to starve the rebels. Jews counter with tunnels, but a collapse creates a breach exploited by the Romans. Jerusalem is set ablaze, thousands die, and survivors are enslaved. Stones from the temple wall remain where they fell nearly 2000 years ago.
