USDA Increases Food Stamp Benefits Through September

The USDA is increasing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by 15% through September. This change will benefit around 41 million people using food stamps, providing an additional $28 per month. A family of four will receive an average of $100 more monthly for groceries. These additional funds are part of the COVID relief package passed by Congress earlier this month.
