Only In Indonesia 8 - Orangutan Rehabilitation Center

The Orangutan Rehabilitation and Reintroduction Centre in Borneo, Indonesia, is home to 440 orangutans being prepared for return to the wild. These orphaned and displaced animals learn essential survival skills, such as changing a tyre and cutting fur, under the care of over 100 babysitters. The babysitters provide motherly care, even comforting the orangutans after nightmares. Despite the challenges, including biting incidents, the centre remains dedicated to the orangutans' rehabilitation.
