CLEAN : Renewables-powered boat sails across Gulf of Thailand

The Energy Observer is a vessel designed to test and demonstrate renewable energy technologies. It utilizes solar, wind, and hydropower, along with battery and hydrogen storage systems, to operate efficiently under extreme conditions. The project aims to make these technologies more reliable, efficient, and affordable. Currently in Thailand, the Energy Observer is on its 71st stopover, with plans to conclude its journey in Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. The vessel faces challenges such as varying weather conditions, which it overcomes by using a mix of energy sources and storage solutions.
