Flooding Hits Southern States

Severe weather has prompted rescue efforts in several states. A flash flood emergency was declared in Birmingham, Alabama, following heavy rainfall. The weather is affecting parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Georgia. The storms have resulted in three deaths this week.
