VOICED : Al menos 23 muertos en atentado en iglesia en El Cairo

A deadly attack on the Coptic church in Cairo resulted in 23 deaths and 49 injuries during a Sunday mass. Initially reported as 25 deaths, the number was later revised. The explosion occurred at 10 AM in the Abasilla district, near the San Marcos Cathedral, the seat of Pope Tawadros II. The bomb contained 12 kilos of TNT. Pope Tawadros II cut short his visit to Greece to return to Cairo. The Coptic Orthodox community is the largest Christian minority in the Middle East and one of the oldest.
