Russian Foreign Minister Has Second Oval Office Meeting With Trump

The exclusion of the American press was notable due to past controversies involving Lavrov's visits. Prior to the Oval Office meeting, Pompeo and Lavrov discussed issues like Syria, the Iran nuclear deal, and North Korean denuclearization. The meetings coincided with a Justice Department report finding no partisan bias in the FBI's Russian election meddling investigation. Lavrov denied Russian involvement in U.S. domestic issues.
