Mushroom and bacteria turn light into clean energy

The video discusses how a team from the Stevens Institute of Technology used 3D printing to create a pattern of conductive carbon on mushrooms, turning them into renewable energy hosts. Cyanobacteria, known for its high efficiency in converting sunlight to energy, was printed on the mushrooms using bio ink. When exposed to light, the cyanobacteria undergo photosynthesis, releasing electrons that are captured by graphene strips, generating 65 nanoamps of electric energy.
