Doubts arise over efficacy of China-produced Sinopharm vaccine

Bahrain recommends Pfizer boosters for over 50s with comorbidities after a COVID-19 surge, despite high Sino Farm vaccination rates. The Sino Farm vaccine uses inactivated viruses to teach the immune system to fight the coronavirus. Antigen presenting cells process these viruses, activating T and B cells. Memory B cells help the body remember and reproduce antibodies. Despite the surge, most hospitalized were unvaccinated, showing Sino Farm's effectiveness.
