Refunds on the way for Fortnite players after settlement

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is distributing 600,000 payments totaling $72 million to gamers or their parents for unwanted in-game purchases. This follows a settlement with Epic Games, which was accused of tricking players into making these purchases due to confusing button configurations. Refunds are being issued to those who submitted valid claims before October 8th, two years after the settlement was reached.
