U.S. Rep.-Elect George Santos Investigated For Lying About His Past

Newly elected Republican Congressman George Santos is under investigation for potentially breaking laws by misrepresenting himself. He won the election for New York's third Congressional District, but it was later revealed that he fabricated much of his resume, including his education and work history. The chief prosecutor in Nassau County has stated that if a crime was committed, it will be prosecuted.
