President Biden Reportedly Focused On Three Supreme Court Nominees

President Joe Biden is in the process of selecting a nominee to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court. He has interviewed three candidates, each of whom would make history as the first black woman nominated to the Court. The candidates are Ketanji Brown Jackson, J. Michelle Childs, and Leondra Kruger. Jackson is a former clerk for Justice Breyer and currently serves on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals. Childs is a judge on the South Carolina District Court and has bipartisan support. Kruger is a California Supreme Court Justice and former principal deputy Solicitor General. Biden aims to announce his nominee by the end of the month.
