The Waiapi tribe is preparing to defend their Amazon rainforest home from international mining companies. Despite a temporary government reversal on mining restrictions, the tribe remains vigilant. Historically, they faced near extinction from measles, and now they use modern technology to preserve their culture and raise awareness. With only 1200 members, their land remains at risk despite vaccinations against past diseases.
