VOICED: One man fights poverty by making a mansion out of mud

Mackford, living in Zambia's copperbelt, spent five years building his dream house using mud bricks. Despite facing ridicule, he persevered, making 10,000 bricks by hand with a compression machine. His previous home was a cramped shack, common in Zambian townships where many live on less than $2 a day. Mackford's new house includes electricity and water, and he plans to open a training center to teach others how to build better homes, hoping to inspire community development.
