The Syrian army has captured key areas in southern Aleppo, opening a main supply route. Civilians are heavily impacted, with many injured. The army used intense military tactics, including heavy artillery and airstrikes. Despite losses, the opposition still controls significant parts of Aleppo and its countryside. However, internal conflicts and strategic losses have weakened their position.
