Galaxy

Galaxies are vast systems of stars and dust held together by gravity. They are classified into spiral, elliptical, or irregular types. The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy. It is now believed that supermassive black holes exist at the center of every galaxy, consuming matter and releasing energy.
