Coastal erosion poses significant challenges, as illustrated by an engineer in England who has taken extensive measures to protect his home from being lost to the sea. With 1.22 meters of land eroded in just three tides, he employs up to 50 trucks daily to deposit sand and clay at the cliff base, creating a sea defence. Despite losing a third of the material annually, his efforts have successfully prevented his home from disappearing into the sea over the past six years.
