Jean-Carlo owns a farm in Castelbosco, Italy, where 3500 cows produce 55 tons of milk and 150 tons of manure daily. When the milk industry declined, he turned to ecological uses of manure, generating electricity and creating products. The farm produces 3 megawatt-hours of electricity, enough for a small village. Remaining manure is sold as fertilizer and transformed into art and design objects, showcased in the Museum of Shit. The Merdakota brand, known for its innovative use of manure, won awards at the Milan Design Fair. Products include home and garden items, emphasizing the transformation of waste into valuable goods.
